On January 10, 2021-during a conference call-Kevin Mccarthy asks if Conservative members of the Republican Conference can be banned from Twitter. In the call he discussed a combination of censure, removal off of committees and Twitter banning of: Matt Gaetz (FL), Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA), Louis Gohmert (TX), Barry Moore (AL), Mo Brooks (AL) all from conservative states. Going as far as saying that “President was impeached for his comments and these comments go even further than the president”. Furthermore, Kevin McCarthy advocated for the censure of Louis Gohmert for his first amendment speech. At a rally attended by 8-10 members, McCarthy wanted to know who the members were to determine what 1A violating course of action he would conduct on those members. Additionally, there was talk of stripping Mo Brooks of his committee assignments like Steve King. This doesn’t even mention later on how Kevin McCarthy acquiesced to censorship and stripping Marjorie Taylor Greene off of her committees by allowing 11 members of the Republican conference to vote to do so, violating the 1st Amendment rights of someone that made comments-when they were a private citizen- (prior to becoming a member of Congress) and violating the 5th Amendment right of Ms. Greene and of the upwards of 800k of her constituents that voted for her to be a full member of Congress, not a second class citizen congresswoman. Here is an excerpt of the full call recording available:
“MCCARTHY: What did Barry say today?
CALLER: All right, so he deleted his personal Twitter account, but Jamie Dupree with the Atlanta Journal got screenshots. He said about 22 hours ago, “Wow, we have more arrests for stealing a podium on Jan. 6 than we do for stealing an election on Nov. 3, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Detroit would be places I recommend you start. There is video evidence of these crimes as well, #ElectionIntegrityMatters.
Moore also made this tweet on the Saturday night, as the U.S. Capitol police officer who shot and killed a woman, as she tried to get into the lobby, so he tweeted at Marjorie Greene…, “I understand it was a a black police officer that shot the white female veteran, you know that doesn’t fit the narrative.”
MCCARTHY: What?. Oh, man.
CALLER: This is what we have to confront with this.
McCarthy then said, “Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away, too?”
Who is the “they” that Kevin McCarthy is referring to? Is it the FBI that he mentions at the beginning of the call? Is it the same FBI surrogates that took away President Trump’s and tens of thousands of other Patriots’ accounts? Was it Twitter’s very own Jim Baker, who previously served as the General Counsel at the FBI that authorized the illegal spying on President Trump in 2016 and when Kevin McCarthy became Majority leader, he likely knew all of this was going on? Was it Vijaya Gadde? Elvis Chan? Or the other folks at the FBI/FITF that TwitterFiles just released? A clear example of how Kevin McCarthy was willing to just fold to illegal Democrat demands to violate and limit first amendment activity that had a chilling and subsequently a detrimental impact on the health of our Republic.
This begs the question, when Kevin McCarthy said, “too” was he referring to President Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene or other that he had participated in censoring? Also, was Kevin McCarthy the one who provided top cover in his leadership for the Republican party for the following censorship to take place, that was recently exposed by the TwitterFiles:
